Teenage Engineering

Teenage Engineering makes electronic instruments with the design sensibility of a premium furniture brand. Products from the iconic OP-1 synthesizer to the OB-4 speaker treat technology as material to be designed with. The design language is unmistakable: exposed mechanisms, purposeful controls, and a playful-yet-serious approach making complex technology approachable. The OP-1 became a design icon influencing product design far beyond music. Collaborations with IKEA and Nothing demonstrate how their thinking translates across categories. Audio products bring design integrity to accessible price points. For anyone who believes technology should be beautiful, tactile, and joyful to use, Teenage Engineering is the benchmark. They've proven consumer electronics can be designed with the same care as any other designed object.
