Spain retains large-scale manufacturing capacity in upholstery, ceramics and outdoor furniture, and the domestic market rewards value over provenance. The result is a group of brands producing genuinely well-designed pieces at prices that would be impossible in Denmark or Italy, usually with shorter lead times because the factory is not subcontracted.
The aesthetic runs warmer than northern European work: terracotta, rattan, raw ceramic, a Mediterranean tolerance for texture. Outdoor is a particular strength, for the obvious climatic reason that Spanish manufacturers have been solving weather exposure for longer.
