Kelly Wearstler

Kelly Wearstler runs one of the most recognisable interior design studios in the United States, based in Los Angeles and behind interiors such as the Proper Hotels. Her own collection carries the same sensibility into furniture, lighting, rugs and objects: carved stone, cast brass, plaster and burl, often in forms that sit between furniture and sculpture. Licensed collaborations extend the range, with lighting through Visual Comfort and textiles through Lee Jofa. The look is maximal and tactile rather than minimal, built on contrasts of texture and scale. Pricing is firmly in investment territory, and the collectible pieces are made in limited runs.
