DETJER

DETJER draws inspiration from Pierre Jeanneret's Chandigarh furniture. Where originals command extraordinary prices, DETJER references those iconic forms using contemporary materials and production methods. Characteristic cane weaving, teak-like tones, and angular profiles define the collection. Material quality is high: genuine cane, solid wood frames, and construction aiming for durability. The focused collection — dining chairs, lounge chairs, tables, shelving — creates the colonial-modern atmosphere increasingly popular in contemporary interiors. The aesthetic bridges mid-century modernism and bohemian warmth. For anyone attracted to Chandigarh style but priced out of vintage or skeptical of cheap reproductions, DETJER offers a considered middle path. Quality materials and genuine design appreciation make these more than copies.
