Craighill

Craighill makes the small objects most people never think about — and makes them well enough that you start thinking about them. Lighters with swing-arm mechanisms, scissors balanced for actual cutting rather than display, rulers machined from solid brass, desk trays shaped like clouds. Every piece comes with a For Life Guarantee: if it breaks, they fix or replace it. The materials are chosen for how they age — solid brass, stainless steel, zinc alloy — because a lighter that develops a patina is more interesting than one that stays perfect. Founded in New York, the brand has built a loyal following among people who believe the objects you touch every day deserve the same design attention as furniture.
